Converting Enthusiast3 to BellaBuffs
If you're currently using Enthusiast3 and want to convert to BellaBuffs, follow these instructions:
Download convert-from-enth.zip and extract the PHP file inside the zip and configure two variables documented within the file. Upload it to your individual Enthusiast3 fanlisting directory and visit the file in your browser — the file will be located somewhere like: http://your-domain.com/your-fl/convert-from-enth.php. If all has gone well, you should see a whole load of information in your browser — you need to copy this to a text file and save it as members.txt to somewhere like your desktop.
Download and configure BellaBuffs, then upload it to your website (instructions are in the BellaBuffs readme.txt). When everything is uploaded, overwrite the empty BellaBuffs members.txt file that comes with the script, with the file you filled with member data earlier on (upload it over the top).
If the conversion was successful, your member count should now register the same as it was when you were using Enthusiast3 (on the index page of your fanlisting).
Important note:
- BellaBuffs only supports one favourite field (at the moment): you must specify which you want to use in the file (if you have more than one).
